January 1, 2012 Happy 2012! Enjoy a "Art is out of Phaze" music video preview. We shared this preview with all Kickstarter Backers, and now we'd like to share it with you! This week we'll be shooting our final day at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis and thereafter we'll begin to edit and add our special effects and final touches. 12.11.11 Art is out of Phaze debut single now available on iTunes! ![]() October 2011 The band and I are very excited to introduce our music video Director Jon Thomas and our Director of Photography Adam Honzl. I met both Jon and Adam through working on the Minneapolis made movie Phasma Ex Machina, now known as Ghost From the Machine. Jon has most recently completed a movie of his own entitled Photos and Drawings, which has just been accepted into the pretty-darn-prestigious Carmel Art and Film Festival in Carmel, CA. (also home of Clint Eastwood). Jon has also designed titles for the Joel and Ethan Coen movie "Intolerable Cruelty." Jon also co-owns and operates Studio Collective Inc., a Minneapolis based motion graphics and new media design company. Adam is a graduate of the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, holds an MFA in Cinematography from AFI as well as a BS in Cinema Production from Ithaca College. His AFI Thesis film, “Wilbur” recently won the Showtime Latin Filmmakers’ Contest (for director Dago Rodriguez) and a subsequent grant to make another film for Showtime. And This Just In: Adam has won a Van Gogh Award at the Amsterdam Film Festival. He received the World Cinema Excellence in Cinematography Award for his work on “Death in Charge,” a short directed by Devi Snively for the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women. The film has now shown in 91 film festivals around the world. Not too shabby! We'll be shooting the video in October at various indoor and outdoor stages and we hope to have the video edited and completed later this Fall. 7.28.11 A nice review from our UMS Denver Shows... "Minnesota’s Chris Harrington will blow your mind. Visually and musically. There’s something extreme about playing everything yourself. Something more than an inability to delegate. Can’t put my finger on it, but Harrington has it – in spades. Prepare for the ultimate in a unique one-man band experience – two screens (one Harrington on bass, one Harrington on drums) and Harrington on guitar. And it’s all live. THAT is worth the price of admission on its own, if you ask me…" http://www.denverthread.com/archives/37047.10.11
